Restoring Me®
Restoring Me® is a program that began as an idea and concept to revitalize the outward beauty and aesthetic needs of cancer survivors. Our aesthetic program is specifically designed for cancer patients who want to restore their outward beauty. Restoring Me® is about bringing cancer survivors back to their pre cancer state of outward beauty. Our goal is to provide aesthetic and cosmetic care, information, and resources to cancer survivors during and after their cancer therapy. This first of its kind aesthetic care in Orange County the Clinic provides medical care, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, and support for cancer survivors throughout the state. Many patients who go through surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy have significant effects Through the treatment period, a "mask" covers a cancer patient's face and eventually their emotional well-being is changed. Many patients are scared and emotionally withdraw themselves from family and the world that surrounds them. Many cancer patient's don't recognize the evolving changes to their faces and body. They can barely survive the daily rituals of doctors appointment and chemotherapy sessions. When treatments are then complete, and the disease is cured or in remission recovered, hope finally returns. Gradually the patient's life returns and hope is restored. At the end of their sojourn when life returns to normal, the patient often looks at them self in the mirror and finds physical and anatomical changes to their body and face. They realize they have changed and they feel a lack of empowerment to anything.

Physicians are trained to detect and win the battle against cancer, but often they neglect the emotional and aesthetic needs of patients after the battle against cancer. There is no focus by the medical community on restoring patients back to their previous aesthetic state of being.
